Ethel & Mary's is a new restaurant opening in Saint John focused on celebrating and evolving the food culture and history of New Brunswick, while supporting local agriculture. Pulling inspiration from community based recipe collections, as well as the recipe collections of his grandmothers, chef/owner Matthew Elliott and his team provide an experience of nostalgia and surprise by applying professional culinary knowledge to the family favorites of Saint John, NB. Ethel & Mary's offers home style hospitality, and an inviting and inclusive atmosphere.
We are excited to open our first bricks-and-mortar restaurant in Autumn 2019 on Princess Street, in the heart of Uptown Saint John. Until then catch us Sundays 9am-2pm at the Queen Square Farmers Market for breakfast and lunch, and Thursdays 5pm-10pm at the South Market Street Night Market for baked goods, seasonal tarts, breads, and snacks.
