Ethel & Mary's is a new restaurant opening in Saint John and looking to celebrate and evolve the food culture and history of New Brunswick, while supporting local agriculture. Pulling from community based recipe collections, as well as the recipe collections of his grandmothers, chef/owner Matthew Elliott and his team provide an experience of nostalgia and surprise by applying professional culinary knowledge to the family favorites of Saint John, NB. Ethel & Mary's offers home style hospitality and an open, inviting and inclusive atmosphere.
We’ll be opening a restaurant in Uptown Saint John in fall 2019, but for now check us out at the Queen’s Square Farmers Market for a bit of breakfast and lunch every Sunday; the Night Market on South Market st. for some seasonal tarts and baked goods/snacks every Thursday evening, and at our monthly Pop Up Restaurants in different locations uptown.
At Ethel & Mary’s we believe the role of food business in the community is to support local agriculture and provide a great guest experience, as well as a great work experience for our staff, and an opportunity for trade skills for the community of Saint John, NB, Canada.
